Loved it

Lovely place. Room beautiful, comfy. The complimentary breakfast fruit parfait and coffee definitely a plus. Small, quaint, charming place overall. Beach walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Very Chic boutique hotel

It was a beautiful place. There was a minor issue that was resolved quickly. Continental breakfast was divine. The pool they show on the site is not on the property so that was a bummer. They did have bikes, beach towels and umbrellas for the beach...Bonus

We’re so glad we found this place! It was very quaint, beautifully decorated, close to many restaurants and a nice walk to the beach. The free breakfast was delicious although we missed having dinner there due to being there during the week. Included beach towels and umbrella. San Pancho has a great vibe and lots of vegan food options.

Nice staycation

Lovely stay. Thought it would be noisy due to being on ground floor and street side but it wasn’t. Reception gent was very nice. Breakfast could have toast and preserves but no biggie. Already planning our next visit. Lovely beach town.

The hotel itself is charming. The staff was excellent and the onsite restaurant had delicious food. The only problems I encountered were ones that were out of the hotel's control. Parking in the area is difficult. If you don't need to bring a car, don't. Everything in San Pancho is within walking distance, there are taxi's and uber's available, so ditch the car as parking is difficult to find. Another issue was the demonic roosters. For some reason the roosters in the neighborhood have decided that 3:30 a.m. is the appropriate time to crow. We were at the hotel for almost a week, and every morning like clockwork the roosters started at 3:30 and kept crowing for hours. Again, the hotel has no control over the roosters, they actually supply ear plugs to try and help with the various noises, but it was still an issue for me. Bottom line is if you want a boutique hotel experience in beautiful San Pancho I highly recommend Ciel Rojo. Just be prepared for some of the quirks of a small Mexican town.

Les puse todas las estrellas porque es un lugar excelente para hospedaje. Su personal tiene un trato amable, el lugar tiene una decoración muy agradable y maravillosa. This is a gem of a property. We felt so safe and nurtured at this beautiful hotel. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of four. The rooms are decorated with such charming, old style Mexico features, and the food and service was beyond our expectations. It's a great location as it's a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. If you're looking for a modern hotel with a pool scene, this is not your place. But if you're looking for a special, local boutique hotel with charm and exceptional service and food, you will not be disappointed!

This a small boutique hotel. The facilities are very tastefully appointed with countless unique little touches. The staff is kind, caring, responsive and polished. There's a lot of love in this business. We stayed 3 nights and found this to be an excellent home base for San Pancho. Very easy to walk about and enjoy the town from the hotel. Pool is just a short one block walk away at a sister property(tranquil garden-like pool setting). The food at the hotel's restaurant is super special. We added an item each morning to the complimentary breakfast offerings and very much enjoyed everything we sampled(banana pancakes were amazing fo this pancake lovert)--tasty, healthful, environmentally conscientious food with local flare. Cheers and happy travels
