Room was lovely, but other than that the Hotel is extremely dated and really does need a face lift. Staff were pleasant enough but unfortunately there was very little atmosphere and we opted to eat instead.

4/10 Lumayan

We stayed two nights, the room was done but the beds untouched. On departure we asked why and were told that beds are done only from three or more nights! Additionally the elevator is very slow and felt a bit random, it would deserve a good maintenance.

All good. A little pricey at £168 for one night, but to be honest, it was a bank holiday weekend. Good location, really good food, friendly staff and clean. Old building, as to be expected, so you could hear all the creaks, bangs and TVs from the other rooms. Dog friendly which was perfect for us. Would stay again

Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant duties.

Great location! Good food options even at the hotel restaurant. Some noise from the traffic on the main road, but not much.

The staff was very friendly and took care of all of our needs. Location is great, the town is conveniently located to explore the mountains, the coast, and the castles. There are many dining and shopping options within walking distance and it's not too busy.

Well located, the hotel is a little old, specially the room and some upkeep would be great, nevertheless the staff was amazing and more than compensated the hotel itself
