I was told about the Mera Spa hotel by a good friend. I am so glad I booked to stay here. It may have snowed outside and the temperature about -10 at the coldest, however inside the place was fabulous and warm.
I came to Gdansk for dental treatment and couldn't have wished for a better place to relax in.
Reception staff were extremely helpful - especially when the air conditioning in my room stopped working...it was freezing. I was offered a fan heater which I found rather disappointing and...

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Gdańsk
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Gdańsk is between January and March, when hotel prices are typically lower. For a budget-friendly experience that allows ample time to take in the city's rich history and culture, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration provides the perfect opportunity to explore notable landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, including impressive monuments, museums, and the stunning cathedral. During this period, visitors can enjoy great value for money while sightseeing, dining, and perhaps indulging in some shopping.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For travellers heading to Gdańsk, Hotels.com offers Dealsopens in new window that may include attractive hotel offers. When exploring last-minute options, the Last-Minute Deals section could help you secure a timely hotel booking. Additionally, with the Smart Shopping comparison tool available via the app, you're more likely to see comprehensive details on hotel prices and amenities. Enabling alerts means you'll be informed of any flash sales or promotions, ensuring you can act quickly should a last-minute opportunity arise.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a hotel in Gdańsk. If you're seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you discover a more economical option.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Gdańsk’s superb public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further afield that remains well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often remarkable value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
