The Montego Bay had gorgeous blue waters, white sand beaches, tropical winds keeping you cool during the warm sunny days. Snorkeling was fantastic and plenty of aquatic life to view. The amazing sunrises and sunsets were always worth stopping to see.

Montego Bay is scenic and beautiful. But above all, the Jamaican people are the most warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly people one could hope to meet and interact with!

Great for your first introduction into Jamaica. Do venture out into the local communities if you get a chance to get the authentic experience.

We felt safe going out in the daytime. Most Jamaicans tried to be friendly and helpful. Locals struggle to earn wages, so they can be aggressive with offering services and products. Tourism is important to Jamaica but received with mixed feelings.

It was lovely and quiet most days. The only thing I did not love was the local souvenir shops were very aggressive in their selling and approach. I get competing for business but you felt a bit pushed around.

Montego Bay is a nice area to stay in if you stick to your resorts and tourist areas. Like most places in the world there are bad pockets. The beaches are great and the resorts are wonderful.

Local government needs to clean up the area in downtown around Sam Sharpe square at night, definitely not a family night walkabout.

There's nothing to do in Montego Bay outside of the resort. It seems like all the excursions are in Ochoa Rios.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Great property, clean staff was always helpful and attentive. This being adults only I legitimately forgot children existed for a few days - and can’t say I was mad at that lol. Lots of daily and night time activities/events if that’s what you’re looking for beach was well kept as well and not sure if we were lucky but zero sargassum to disrupt the vibes.
Food was OK not Great, drinks were really good especially at the lobby bar in the evening - 10/10 fully recommend. "
