"It is a very nice hotel with an elegant feel to it right across from the city park. One could walk to several eating options and it feels safe. One issue is that since it is an older hotel the doors were heavy and had the potential of making a loud noise when closing shut. The sound between the rooms was a bit more than I like. There was a younger group of guests that were a bit noisy when coming and going. The

Parking is easy, back yard and front yard access is good.
Very close to a Walmart that has food and other necessities. Also, a gas station is a few minutes away.
Continental breakfast is good for a grab and go.Would return as it is close to Clarkson university. Thanks!"

"Very nice hotel, staff friendly. Pet and child friendly. Right in the middle of everywhere to walk, so very convenient. Beautiful view of the lake! Our bath tub had trouble draining but the staff and maintenance fixed it asap. The splash pad is not included it is separate "

"This hotel was so perfect for our stay! It was very quiet, clean, easily accessible, not too many rooms so it wasn’t crowded, and in the perfect location! It’s easy to get to the main strip of lake placid and to other towns you’d want to visit.

"The staff was VERY friendly. They had the room stocked with the extra stuff we asked for. The coffee, cream and flavored water was ever plentiful. And no time limit for when you could get a fresh cup of coffee.
The balcony was such an added plus! Unexpected. We were running late checking out and I couldn’t find the extra key… the ladies were very patient and allowed me to search for it! Found it!

The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and it was the first time that I slept like a baby away from home. The location is perfect when visiting Lake Placid in the winter as everything is within walking distance.
