The South Toowoomba neighbourhood is known for its golfing and being pampered at a spa, and has lots of things to do and see, including City Golf Club.
We were in Toowoomba to enjoy the Carnival of the Flowers and we were also lucky to see Grinspoon play at the Powerhouse. It was a great weekend and so nice to see beautiful architecture of an era gone by.

Some good parks, museum, gallery etc. Locals care about the town and reputation, probably past heyday and some empty shopfronts and few large stores closing down. Nice mix of new (shopping centre) and old (independent shops, cafes, restaurants).

I love Toowoomba as a rural city. We visited for a show at the Empire Theatre.
