Orem is growing and no longer a quiet "university" town. However, it still remains a nice area. I'd rather stay here and drive to places (never more than an hour-ninety minutes) than stay in Salt Lake City.

Surrounding mountains are beautiful. We drove to Sundance and saw Bridal Veil waterfall along the way.

Felt we were driving in an alternate universe.. Not just heavy traffic, but strange0 street layouts & controls yet well kept clean & smooth.. Your gps is very helpful, Even when you missed the destination by a block..

Love the shady, well maintained walking trails that run along the Provo river. Lots of parks along the trails to park at.

Many things that are very close by but the parking area is difficult to get into and out of when you are going places so plan your trips carefully and give plenty of time to get where you need to go.

Orem has a lot to offer and is close to everything. We enjoyed a gorgeous visit to Bridal Veil Falls only about 15 minutes away.

There is a wal mart, krispy kream, and trampoline park right down the road. The mall is close by.

"I came for an official trip. Considering the nature of the trip, this was prudent to have a good night sleep and comfort to get recharged for the next day.
