The beaches and aquarium are outstanding. Go to Atlantic Beach also! There is a very small Mexican restaurant next to Food Lion, I highly recommend it. Oh and the little water park across from the Food Lion is fantastic if you have little kids :)

If you like to go shelling Fort Macon is the place to go (early bird gets the shell) Captains table food truck in Salter Path right up the road is a must for fresh cooked seafood.
