Excellent
We came in from KY for the SIU basketball game. If we come back we will probably stay here again and ask for the same room. Non smoking, king bed and also a sitting area.

Carbondale isn't the cleanest or nicest town, but I always felt safe. This hotel is y far from Marion which offers many choices for shopping and dining. The Carbondale dining options are also near by- not walkable, but a short drive away.

I like that carbondale is central in the area and has everything you need to be happy.
"The staff was excellent. Very accommodating. Great price for a clean and comfortable stay. I stayed there 4 nights on a property / business trip. I was always happy returning to the room after a hard work day.
Lowes is right behind the hotel. Not really close enough to walk, but the shortest drive. Also a taco bell is near, a dunkin doughnuts is very walkable. All in all, maybe the best hotel choice in Carbondale."
"Property smelled so much of air freshener in lobby it was overwhelming. What was it covering?
The beds were so high I couldn’t touch the ground and I am 6’. "
