Irvine town itself is a lovely wee place. Plenty shops, retail park, transport links all good. Easy to get to Glasgow or to other towns up and down via bus/rail links.

A strange little town with very little choice of restaurants & evening entertainment but nice sandy beach areas
"Pulled up in taxi to employees on strike directly in front off entrance to hotel which was a bit intimidating along with their loud music and megaphone, i was just glad my room was round other side off building. They where back again yesterday which doesn't give the hotel a very good look. Staff where lovely and swimming pool attached to hotel was just the best. Food was lovely although many deals on tables and app apparently dont apply to scotland which is just silly."
"Reception bar staff( 2 males)on arrival were friendly and helpful. The girl on checkout was a bit dismissive. The hotel was funky although some areas were dark and not so welcoming ( the lift lobby) felt like it was forgotten about.
Overall great, clean tidy and a good vibe."
" Hotel is in a good location. Our basement room was disappointing in that the bathroom door didn't close properly and the soap dispenser fell off the wall in the shower when used. I didn't like that the shower head was imbedded high on the wall and no way to manouvre it.
Our dirty coffee cups were not replaced nor the coffee / milk replenished. "
