Having not stepped foot into Peterborough City Centre for 30 years I was pleasantly surprised how nice it looked in Cowgate, Bridge Street and the town square. Good early evening vibe, but when walking back at 11:30 pm on a Friday night it was dead?

Fabulous cathedral, great history, architecture and very welcoming volunteers. Great walk to the Boat House, which needs better signalling around the station. However the city centre and Saturday night atmosphere were a little shabby

Lovely parks local for families and a short 15 minute walk to the town centre (give or take 10 minutes with little legs) shopping centre is starting to look a bit barren but still plenty of choice of shops to look in.

The area around the hotel is a little run down but shouldn't put you off. The people are great and the town centre is still good even though the mall is loosing some shops.

Plenty of shops in Town centre. We know Peterborough already as we don't live far.
"Very nice hotel inside - few wear and tear items but nothing I couldn't live with. Staff were always friendly and nice, often having to deal with some perverse remarks from other guests.
They respect your privacy, especially if you're there on business or for confidential reasons."
"Overall, nice clean, large room in a pleasant hotel. Good bathroom. A few more milks would have been good as each drink needed two milks. Good value for money."
"Parking at the park and ride was only a short walk. Nice modern hotel. Reception, bar and restaurant staff friendly and chatty. Room cleanliness a small opportunity but not to the point that it impacted are stay."
