South Portland is very walkable with lots of dining choices. We enjoyed a coffee while we walked. The harbor was lovely! We found an information center and were directed to a couple of nearby lighthouses!

Great city to explore. Take the trolley tour on Commerical Street in season. Great place to learn about the city and your last stop is Portland headlight.

Loved Portland and South Portland. Harbor area is great. Walked with family all over. Great bars, restaurants, shops. Perfect harbor town and seems positively small for its actual size.

We found the state parks along the coast to be far more enjoyable than Portland!

Mall right across the road, with Cracker Barrel on the other side of the double tree, and plenty more eateries near by. The Starbucks in the parking lot is closed and has moved down the road.

"The hotel is fabulous. Just don’t expect great restaurants right where the hotel is. But they are downtown which is not far to drive. Hotel has shuttle to airport. If I have the opportunity I would definitely stay again. "
"This was a wonderful hotel and completely different than the last clarion hotel. We stayed at in New Haven, Connecticut. The people were friendly the place didn't smell bad. It was nice and clean. Our rooms were clean. Even though there wasn't any breakfast, it did not matter there was coffee and hot water available. Most of the time we can't do breakfast anyway doesn't have options that work for us. I was so pleased I told the GM what a great hotel he had. "
"My stay was great. The facility is in great condition, my room was spacious, the gym is pretty good, the pool was pretty clean and it is close to some restaurants and stores. It is also a short drive away from downtown. Despite being close to the airport, it is relatively quiet. The cleaning could be improved somewhat. I had a great experience. "
