Lincoln is well known for its cathedral and castle, featuring attractions such as Lincoln Museum and Lincoln Cathedral. This welcoming city has something for everyone including its university life, bars and sights like Lincoln Christmas Market and LNER Stadium.
Lots of things to do even on a week night, castle and cathedral were worth a visit also the carousel bar where they offer darts, shuffle board, beer pong and also arcade games upstairs. Also tried out Glory holes mini golf bar which was fun 18+ only.

Lincoln is a beautiful place which holds alot of memories. Theres lots to do ,many things to see, great cafes and bars .The Cathedral is stunning .Up hill Lincoln still has the old feel. Down steep hill is more modern and lively.just a great place

A beautiful old city of two halves. The upper part by the cathedral and castle, atop Steep Hill is lovely and quiet with lots of history and architectural interest. The bottom half of town is more lively and good for shopping and pubs etc.

Lincoln is a lovely destination. It's like 2 separate places with the bustling shopping area near the hotels and the quaint shopping and cathedral up the hill. Walks along the canal are brilliant and the area is steeped in history.

Medieval Cathedral and Castle at top of City, both of historic significance. Lots of independent shops. Lower City towards the river, student vibe. More High Street chain shops. Walkable - just beware the hills and cobbles!

We were visiting for a concert at Lincoln Castle, and the venue and surrounding pubs and eateries were set up well. Lincoln is a beautiful city to visit culture, shopping, dining and now big music events.

We love Lincoln and the buzz of the bars and restaurants nearby. Be aware though, there is a very steep hill to walk up and down to get to the Cathedral and Castle or to the High Street area below.

Wear good shoes, Steep Hill is so named for good reason. Lots of cobbled streets. Definitely visit the castle. Viewing a genuine copy of the Magna Carter was woth the entrance fee by itself.

We have stayed in Lincoln before it is a city well worth visiting and exploring. Make sure you are in the right part of city if you have mobility issues - cobbled areas and steep hill

Lincoln is a lovely city with plenty to see and do. Some steep hills but there are buses if you can't manage these. Plenty of places to eat with a varied choice of food.

"Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lots of local dining options nearby. Bus stop outside which is regular and takes you straight in to town and only 5 min walk away from the hotel. Plenty of parking and On site restaurant is available but no menu in the room which makes it difficult to consider room service. "
