With some great architecture, friendly people, and lots of quiet and interesting places to walk or cycle, Utrecht made me think (as a foreigner) of a miniature Amsterdam in places. Even in January's bitter cold we walked around happily for hours.

I really enjoyed walking around Utrecht, especially the walk along the Oudegracht canal. The tour of the Dom Tower was also a brilliant experience.

It is a lovely and reasonably compact city. Canals and other Dutch features without the (tourist) crowds of eg. Amsterdam.

The hotel was a short walk to the center of town...lots of shops, restaurant options, bars, and history! I also recommend renting a bike and enjoying the city like the locals do...just maybe not during rush hour! :)

Very nice city in a perfect location to explore more of the Netherlands with so many train lines. I think a better location than Amsterdam as easy to get around.

Quaint town but the cyclists are more of a menace than anywhere else I've been in the Netherlands.
"The stay was amazing. The facility is nice and the location is super convenient. Also, every staff there are very friendly and kind. Highly recommended."
"Hotel Casa Amsterdam was perfect! Outside of Central Amsterdam but a quick trip on the Metro to Amstrel Station which is bus, train and tram. From the station it is a quick 5 minute walk! Steps from a trail on the canal, 5 min walk to the grocery store, 10 minute walk to the best sorbetto I have ever had!, many cafes and restaurants including in house at the hotel with roof top patio option! This place is clean, staff amazing and location was perfect’ can’t say enough about the ease of check in and check out. Would highly recommend to people visiting Amsterdam! "
"Great hotel with excellent tram links to Amsterdam centrum and central railway station. Lovely neighbourhood vibe with cafes, restaurants and shopping right outside. You can also take walks along the river from the front of the hotel. I'd recommend the hotel if you want to visit Amsterdam but not have your hotel right in the tourist mayhem."
"Hotel was walking distance to the airport. Stayed one night. Rooms are high tech but only the size of a sea container. You had to crawl into like a camper bed but was a comfortable king size bed. Was ok for one night. Able to walk to the airport plaza for shopping and dinner options. "
