Do not recommend
Two reasons you should consider this hotel but many more reasons not to book! Good things: the spa and restaurant staff are great, and the location is exceptional but they’re many other hotels next door. Bad things: - unfriendly receptionist: the receptionists were not attentive and friendly throughout my 3-day stay, especially the one who checked me in. I just looked at the other guest comments, it seems my bad experience was not unique to me. - Room conditions: the room has a very small window (like a prison) that offers almost no natural night. Hotels.com must indicate this in the room description because people like me do mind. Also, the room size is small. - Noise: Throughout my entire stay, I could not sleep well because of the noise coming from both inside and outside of the hotel. Imagine disco music is On till 2am. - Housekeeping: the bathrobes were being removed from the room and clean towels were not refilled. The cleaning and amenities were random - good luck! Extra charge: 20 Euro for the receptionist to just make a phone call to get a taxi, while the taxi ride costs just 10 Euro. I’d rather pay an extra fee to the taxi driver who actually delivered a service and drove me to the train station safely. Where does it say in the hotel’s public information on this extra charge? Shouldn't it be a part of the 5-star hotel?

Excelente lugar, ubicación, totalmente remodelado. El staff muy amable y haciendo siempre algo extra.. habitación y cama cómoda, el spa pequeño pero conveniente y en óptimas condiciones.. el desayuno estuvo bien aunque me hubiese gustado un poco más de variedad, aparte de eso todo 10/10

Super friendly staff a credit to the hotel. Rooms were great and the hotel benefits from a spa with gym and treatment rooms. Food in the first floor restaurant was outstanding and the bar has a happy hour downstairs from 3pm. Hotel is in proximity to a host of great restaurants and bars but dont be suprised if they dont open before 7pm. great base for Porto sightseeing. Probably a good idea not to bring a vehicle as parking is limited and expensive around the hotel.

Good location near Douro and Estação de São Bento
Above all, the staff (from reception, breakfast, wellness area to room maids) in this hotel must be praised; they are friendly, attentive and helpful. Our room was large and had everything we would expect from such a hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, but the selection and presentation could be improved. The coffee and juices were very tasty. And we really liked the positive and friendly waitress Fabriana. The wellness area with heated pool, dry sauna and steam sauna is small, but we liked it. We had to complain to the hotel about the water quality (lots of small white flakes) and the slimy edge of the pool. The pool is apparently not checked or cleaned regularly. Hopefully there will be a maintenance interval for this pool soon. (This also applies to the dirty stairs to the left of the small church outside.) Nevertheless, we can recommend this PortoBay Flores! Many thanks to all the staff!

Porto Bay Flores- great stay
The Porto Bay Flores is a beautiful 5 star hotel located in an excellent area or Porto. The rooms are beautiful, overlooking the city. The staff is very helpful and accommodatng. The breakfast is wonderful. There nice gym and spa as well. Definitely recommend!

It’s a lovely place at the center of Porto. The location is perfect and it’s close to where all the action is. My room is beautiful and very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful to my needs. I will definitely come back and the experience was unforgettable and the place was just perfect.

The service is amazing!!! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful!! The hotel is beautiful and is in the center of Porto. There are many shops and restaurants around like literally less than 5 minutes away walking!!! Many great restaurants!! Going to the bridge area was like 7 minutes max walking!!! Truly enjoyed everything about my stay plus the room is spacious, clean and comfortable!
