Really lovely hotel
The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the beach and near the Edem tram stop. The staff and service were excellent. The room itself was basic but clean, offering great sea views. Although it faced a noisy road, the soundproof doors prevented any disturbances inside. However, the air conditioner was not very effective; even on the coldest setting, it only blew out mildly cool air, which wasn't sufficient given the high temperatures.
The rooftop pool and surrounding area were decent, though small and often crowded, which made it feel somewhat claustrophobic, especially in the heat. On a positive note, the food at the 7th-floor restaurant was very good, with generous portions and excellent value for money. The free breakfast in the lobby was plentiful and offered a good selection of hot and cold options, including made-to-order omelets and fruit.
The surrounding area is lovely, featuring a massive beach and gorgeous sunsets, with easy access to downtown Athens in just 15 minutes. I would consider staying here again, but perhaps in one of the newer rooms.
