Lack of service attention
The service is just off here. I stay in hotels frequently for both business and leisure. The first impression is that while we checked in, the staff took a phone call and was distracted causing our check in to be slower than it should have been. We’ve stayed there before -no welcome back or anything either. The alarm clock went off at 6am waking us up on a sleep late day. The staff obviously don’t check it when they turn the rooms. We should know better as it has happened before at this hotel. There’s no water in the room. No amenity kit. I understand this is a moderately priced hotel for Toronto but a little would go a long way. The last straw was that we bought food on our visit to take home with us. We stored it in the mini fridge. In the morning we took it out and it was warm. Fridge wasn’t working. We lost $50 worth of food. I think it all comes down to lack of service attention. We stayed here as it was close to our theatre. The closeness isn’t worth it.
