The room was immaculate and so cool it transports you in time. The only thing I will say is if you you the Gremlins den and they are having an event be prepared to have noises above you until about 10pm. Besides that our stay was amazing and can't wait to book again.

ALV is an amazing place and definitely not the "typical" hotel stay or whatever. My wife are much better versed on the experience and look forward to a return visit to enjoy the full benefits of the property. The attention to detail is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a magical place! The staff treated us like family. The surroundings were so peaceful. We stayed in one of the tree houses and received a beautiful morning wake-up call from a tiny little Carolina Wren who was beckoning the sun to rise.

The property is just the cutest. It was so relaxing. Exactly what i needed. The staff was excellent and very attentive. You are very fortunate to have such an amazing team there!!! The food was also superb. I had one lunch and 2 dinners and every single dish was phenomenal. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

This place was exceptional! The rooms are very clean, well-designed, and decorated. The property is of quality in every way. I was so impressed with the physical property, from landscaping to building designs. Staff are hardworking and friendly. Their customer service was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. I loved my stay here very much and plan on visiting again with friends and family soon.

The village is beautiful and the staff very helpful. Wonderful place to spend a few days and unwind. Room was immaculate and very charming. Landscaping was so beautiful and attention to detail was noticeable. The food at dinner was very inadequate and substandard. It was served and done in 35 minutes. We were not offered any drinks or even shown a drinks menu.

Super cute fairytale-like themed rooms, gorgeous gardens and fun amenities like the fire pit, games areas and hammocks. We had the farm-to-table meal: delicious spring mix salad, very mid pasta alfredo with chicken main and cheese cake for dessert. The setting was beautiful, but the food didn't really match the "chef prepared" hype I was expecting. Nonetheless, we were happy to have the offering so we didn't have to travel out and sitting family style we met some other interesting travelers. As far as rooms, the Leprechaun's Laire village room with the hand-laid pebble fireplace really appealed to me. It's interesting architecture, gold flecked walls and well-chosen finishes were really charming. During that evening we had a problem with the deadbolt, so when the door no longer closed, they moved us to the 2-story 2BR/2BA treehouse. It was fun having the extra space, but the interior design was more luxury rugged and slightly less charming. Overall, we were very pleased with our one night stay at the Ancient Lore Village on our roadtrip!

it was really scenic and good what was very confusing was their activities none of the staff was aware of proper process of inviting people for available activities , only after checkin we came to know there was much more to do but all qas already booked. we tried asking in advance and they didnt mention it at all their website also is bit confusing when it comes to things to do over there

We had a wonderful stay at Ancient Lore Village! All of the employees were very friendly and the landscaping and attention to detail is superb. We happened to stay on a Wednesday night so we joined the trivia night and ate shredded pork nachos which was available for purchase while we played. There is not a restaurant on site, so this worked for us for our dinner. We sat by the fire pit afterwards and enjoyed the fire and the company of the other couple that was also staying there. Our room was a delight. It was fun to take in all the details that went into its design. There were complimentary drinks in the fridge and French press coffee. The quality of the bed linens, pillows and towels were in the luxury category. We turned on the electric fireplace before bedtime and relaxed on the two rocking chairs in front. In the morning a club car picked us up and took our luggage back to our car for us (it is a little walk uphill to the parking lot). Overall, a fun splurge that is a highlight of our road trip.
