Great wee town - touristy but still retains its charm and the Duomo and square is great for a historic "dip" and then people watching over a drink.

Most tourists probably don't spend as much time here as they should. Town is so walkable and lots to see and do in the area.

Spend time at the beach. Great sunset shots. Also there are some real artisan shops there. The Duomo is worth a visit, but didn't pay for tower (people said not great views. Many places for drinks, gelato and dinner.

I loved it! The beach nearby was so beautiful!!!! The town is so cute!!! The place is perfect!
"Great stay with Francesco, Nino (his father) and Concetta (who made breakfast and cleaned the rooms)! The property is in a beautiful setting and Francesco takes pride in keeping the grounds beautiful. Nice plantings, a beautiful lawn, and well maintained. Everyone was very helpful and willing to give tips and suggestions for visiting the area. Breakfast was nice and served on the covered terrace with fantastic views.
The only negatives were the short dirt road that you had to travel to get to the property (not really a big deal), and the shower was the typical small corner style common in Europe (a bit tight for comfort).
Overall would highly recommend a stay here!

"Our stay was absolutely perfection! This boutique resort felt like a home away from home. The staff went over and above to accommodate us, and being that it’s such a small hotel you got to know everyone that worked there and stayed there. It was such a friendly atmosphere and the grounds were so serene. That pool was heavenly at the end of a hot day! We got to know everyone that worked there…. From the owner, GianPaoulo, Stella, Dario, Mauro, and the lovely lady at breakfast. They were all amazing and went over and above for us. Anything we needed or wanted, they made it happen. Especially a day on the boat, or restaurant reservations, they helped us coordinate it all. As the villa is not walkable to the old city, they certainly have that figured out for you with a free tuk tuk to and from that was very convenient!! They ran it all day, and were so accommodating. One more thing, they have an amazing restaurant on the grounds for a nice evening out. Chef Silvestre even gave us a tour of his garden, which I found so fascinating! Thank you again for the best stay, we will come back for another visit for sure!!"
"The property had all the amenities we were looking for including a great sea view common balcony to watch sunsets and enjoy a bottle of wine. We were 10 to 15 minute walk to Cefalù beach which was great! Cefalu has lots of character and certainly worth a visit. The free breakfast was very good and the kitchen fridge was stocked with beer, soda and water at very reasonable prices. Mirko was very responsive will all communications. We would definitely recommend Ma&Mi Guest House. "
"Our stay at the property was great! I would like to note that there was a bit of mold in our shower & the shower water leaked out onto the floor in the bathroom. It could’ve been just our room but would’ve been nice to not have that at all.
The beach & pool area are great and very well maintained. It makes the location so unique and special.
A shuttle service to the city centre would’ve been great however, this hotel lacked this.
If you want a beautiful view, a nice spot to swim and a good nights rest - stay here. "
"Lovely hotel in a good location near to the beach, train station and old town. The staff were really helpful. Our large room was clean with good air conditioning. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. "
