Beautiful location to stay. The hotel was immaculate, the grounds were beautiful and the town is very quaint. We felt very welcomed. The breakfasts were a stand out too, excellent quality, range and options for all dietary needs. Would highly recommend if you want a comfortable stay with good access to sights in south Tuscany. Travelling to Sienna, Montepulciano and other places in the region was easy and simple.

Step into history
We stayed for one week at Hotel Vannucci. It has beautiful grounds with pool and a great location - just a few steps into walled city of Citta della Pieve. This hotel is a beautiful renovated villa with an indoor/outdoor bar and dining room. The breakfast buffet included is superb with fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods and eggs. Most importantly the staff are attentive and friendly. Just a gem of a hotel. Highly recommend.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Umbria. The hotel was beautiful! The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The safe was so convenient as it was in a drawer and you didn't have to get on your knees to access it! The breakfast was awesome and the restaurant in which we had dinner one night was amazing! The hotel is centrally located so we could drive to other areas in Umbria. The town of Citta de la Pieve is very quaint and has lots of restaurants. I would definitely go back to Hotel Vannucci if I get the opportunity to visit this beautiful area of Italy!
