2/10 Poor

I wouldn’t go back there again.
It was honestly gross. There was poop on the inside of the toilet bowl and I had not used the toilet yet. I noticed a small maybe 1/2 inch blood stain on the door frame of the door in the bathroom. The sheets had dust and hair in them when you pulled them out. Other than everything was clean. Nice padded office chair on wheels and a mini fridge with a mini freezer (don’t see that too often). Honestly I just felt like I was paying for a roof over my head and essentially I was. Could definitely smell people smoking pot or just finished smoking it. I wouldn’t go back there again.

Disappointment
Never had the opportunity to stay at the Palms even with a prepaid reservation. Upon arrival I was told there weren't any rooms available and that my refund had to go thru Expedia. I got the impression that they are not a very reputable business and would never choose them as a place to stay.

The room was dirty and had a bad smell. There was no door (broken) between the 2 rooms—the toilet was creaky, there was also dust on the beds and sand on the floor, the couches had tears and holes in them as well it got so bad that once we expressed pour complaints the staff asked that we just ask for a refund and look for somewhere else and then we left after spending about 10 minutes there.

Had issues with checking in told me I didn’t have a reservation even though I had a confirmation number and everything ended up paying twice. Then once we got to our room it wasn’t cleaned it was still dirty and no clean towels or toilet paper. They didn’t even think they had enough towels for us once we called and asked about them. And seen quite a few cockroaches running around. Then when we went to check out their office hours were 10 to 10 and I ended up having to call a different number just to get check out to go home after waiting almost an hour for someone to show up. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The room wasn’t as big as I thought it would be and what the pictures look like and the description of the room was nothing we got. It was no oven or stove in the room refrigerator didn’t work it was very hot in the front room cause it’s only one window unit in the whole condo and that was in the back room. The blanket when we first got here had white residue on it with hair in it. For it to have two rooms it only had one TV in the room. Over all I would NOT recommend this property to anyone.

2/10 Poor

We had locked ourselves in our motel room for 4hrs while more then a dozen cops waited to apprehend a criminal with warrants for their arrest. A fuse or breaker blew during the time no staff stays on property, so half our room had no power, including the microwave all night and until staff showed up after 10am. Theres no working ice machine. Someone also entered our room our first day there took nothing but it was obvious someone had been in our room. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This hotel was horrible. We paid $260 for a 1 night stay with bed bugs. There were flies all in the room. No parking, was woken up to staff beating on the door for us to move our car because cars were piled on top of each other due to no marking. A $100 deposit is required even after booking with Expedia. I’ve stayed in nice hotels and not paid a $100 deposit. Highly would not recommend. They upped their price so much just for bike fest when they typically probably charge $45 a night or hourly rates.

The room was clean but it’s mostly rented out by druggies. Only recommend this place if you’re low on cash and if you’re not afraid of the hood 💁‍♀️
