The Republic is doing a major remodeling! The rooms was big, clean and very nice! They have a disco on site! The noise didn’t bother me at all! The staff was beyond excellent!! I went fishing and they cooked my catch for me for dinner! I know once they finish the remodel it will be 5 stars all the way! I will definitely be back to them!!

Great Location 👍
Great location, easy to get around in the lical Jaco area. No headaches and nice staff. My only issue was they need more cleaning staff as my room wasnt serviced during my stay.

Hidden gem.
The only problem i was that its a little hard to find. Its a security door in-between the green room and republix bar. I showed up early and called the number from the booking and the manager was there to walk me through the security. I will absolutely be staying there anytime i go back. Its an absolute hidden gem. The room was clean and quiet during the day. Safe of a night. Even.the locals didn't know about it. Thats a plus. On duty security at night. It is loud at night due to the proximity to the beach but man the positive way out weigh the negatives. Especially for a solo traveler. The pool is awesome too.

Amazing Time for me and my friend! Yes this place is for guys mainly who come to party like we did or young couples who want to party....not for families. Cocal Casino is very close. We will be back without a doubt!! And yes there is a disco onsite so yes the music be loud.

No signage at all. We arrived at night in a rain storm….luckily some guys on the street helped us! There is no front desk for any kind of help. Location is great for nightlife activity and plenty of places to eat and drink. Owners are friendly. Be aware, they do not take credit cards….a surprise to me!

The hotel said its a hotel with casino but there was no casino onsite. The hotel name was not to be seen anywhere. Nobody knew about this hotel. We were with luggage in front of it but could not say this was the hotel. We had to call the number and contact and it literally had a grilled door and seemed like entering a jail. We all were so scared to enter that hotel. There was no reception at all. Our room was right above the night club. We knew that the hotel is loud but did not know it was right next to the room. The view of the view was broken and dirty roofs. The light did not work. Sheets were dirty. I have lots to say but I think I will stop here. Expedia, please take this hotel off your list. I have booked so many hotels with expedia but not this kind of bad experience ever. I would like to ask for refund for this out of the 4 hotels we stayed in this trip. This was so bad. Other 3 were such good experiences.

Shazam! - This Place is Fantastic on All Levels! Nice property, rooms and bathrooms and the place is beyond amazing if you come to Jaco to party (and yes it is loud until the disco closes). Close to the Cocal Casino and the Republik Disco is onsite which was so much fun as we partied there late night the 2 nights we stayed - There were a lot of party girls there:-) We ate at the Green Room and Tsunami Sushi for dinner and both were delicious. The staff was great as well...David and Naomi helped us with everything we needed including going on the Zipline tour and airport transfers. Also there are 2 great ice cream places very close by and we loved both of them....lol. We will return and only stay here as this place besides everything else is a great deal compared to others in the same price range that don't look near as nice! One last thing as this place is a little tricky to find - It's between the Green Room and Republik Disco. Thanks everybody!

I found this place 1 day before arriving as the pics looked so nice compared to others in the same price range and even nicer than most of the more expensive hotels too so of course I was leery. When I arrived I was both shocked and surprised that the place was even nicer than the photos. There was a high-end disco on site called Republik which was loud until about 2:30am but we came to party so we loved it. It was closed on Sunday night. If you do not want to party and want something quiet this place is NOT for you so be warned. This is a super nice place for guys who want to party like me. Comfy beds. Cold A/c. Big Rooms & nice bathrooms. We swam at the pool both days. The Cocal Casino was about a 1 minute walk away and the main street was about the same - You can walk pretty much anywhere in Jaco from here. We ate next door at the Green Room and that place rocks for lunch & dinner. We ate breakfast at the Cocal beachfront restaurant and it was perfect! BEST LOCATION IN JACO and the price was super good. We will only stay here from now on. Highly recommend it to the party crowd!
