We were very disappointed with our stay for the following reasons:
• The room we were given was completely different from the one we had carefully selected and confirmed months in advance, with no prior explanation.
• The air conditioner could not be used because no remote control was provided.
• The on-site staff were consistently unfriendly, and even basic English for hotel matters was not understood.
• The shower provided hot water for only about 10 minutes per day, which had not been explained in advance.
• The shower door did not close properly, causing the toilet area to become flooded after every use.
• The towels were frayed and had unpleasant stains, raising serious concerns about hygiene.
• Towels were only exchanged if we personally carried the used ones to the front desk, which was never explained in advance.
• Bed sheets were only changed if we contacted the owner via WhatsApp, again without any prior notice.
• The hotel’s common areas were very noisy during the day due to renovation work in other rooms, with no advance explanation.
Almost everything had to be managed through WhatsApp with the owner. Services that should be standard in any hotel were either not provided or not functional, and none of this was explained beforehand.
Although the owner’s replies on WhatsApp were prompt, they were often inconsistent or unclear. This forced us into repeated messaging, which was time-consuming and caused significant stress, negatively affecting our stay in M
