Disappointing experience – hotel urgently needs renovation Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The reception service was very poor and, in particular, one of the reception staff members on 24 September at around 2:30 pm was extremely rude and unhelpful. This was not the level of courtesy we expected from a hotel. The hotel itself is very old and poorly maintained and clearly needs a major renovation. Some parts of the bathroom were actually rotten and in poor condition. The sink was blocked, and we reported the problem twice, but it was never properly fixed during our stay. There was also considerable noise coming from the corridor, including the floorboards creaking whenever people walked past. Another issue was that we were not informed about the availability/location of the lift, despite having heavy luggage. This should have been explained to us when we arrived. On the positive side, the room was clean, and we appreciated the friendly and attentive person working in the kitchen during breakfast. The breakfast itself was quite simple, but the service from the kitchen staff was good. Overall, although the room was clean, the hotel's poor state of maintenance, the unresolved plumbing problem, the noise, and especially the unfriendly reception service significantly affected our stay. The hotel would benefit greatly from a proper renovation and better attention to guest service.

Em frente ao hotel tem parada de ônibus que vai direto ao centro de Edimburgo. O café da manhã é delicioso! Eu amei tudo!
