I recently stayed at Breathless Punta Cana and while the resort itself is beautiful, my overall experience was disappointing. The staff were often rude and unhelpful when assistance was needed, which left a negative impression. Housekeeping was inconsistent — our room wasn’t cleaned every day and I had to call the front desk multiple times to request service.
The beach was closed for 4 out of the 7 days of our stay, forcing us to use the pool, which was not what we came for. Bar service was extremely slow, with wait times of up to 30 minutes just to get a drink. I had also requested a birthday sign for my door, but it was placed on the wrong room, which was frustrating.
Food quality was below expectations, and I unfortunately experienced an upset stomach for three days during my trip.
Overall, while the resort itself has potential, the lack of service, organization, and attention to detail made this a disappointing stay.
