This is not an Ibis Hotel, as in part of the chain of upmarket hotels, it is a dirty, half finished rat trap. The photo is hugely misleading suggesting a decent frontage, instead it's so small and dark it's easy to miss. The corridors are uncarpeted and dirty, the rooms little better. There are no facilities to speak of in the hotel. The only positive feature is the location on Zhongshan Zhonglu, a nicely kept touristy street.

Relaxing and comfortable stay.
The staff is especially friendly and considerate. And the locatiion (on an historic street with no vehicles allowed, and close to West Lake) is quite enjoyable - as there are a multitude of gift shops, restaurants, and plenty of fruit and snack stands.

noisy, dirty and unfriendly. Dirty, smelly bedsheets and pillows. Although it's located in such a good area it is definitely worth looking for a hotel a little out of zhongshan and hefang lu. We decided to cut short our stay there. Dreadful!

When I checked in on the 17th March 2017 at tyhis hotel, I was asked to pay cash for my confirmed room despite being fully paid through Expedia!
