This guesthouse (ryokan) is a little off the main tourist track on Miyajima Island but that is its advantage since it does not suit in a sea of people all day long. It's still close to the main places. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the stylish bathroom. And the food was fresh and delicious. Recommended.

Staff are super kind and helpful. I arrived a bit past 7, but they still honored my dinner reservation. The food is fantastic and both dinner and breakfast were my best meals in Japan so far. The property is just in front of the aquarium. Room was of a good size and bathroom is shared with other guests but with the option to lock the door while using it. Food was delicious both breakfast and dinner. The staff was really friendly and helpful, left my hoodie in the closet and they offered to send to my hotel in osaka!. Fantastic stay. Very welcoming staff. Very comfortable facilities. Toilet is ensuite. Shower/bath is on corridor. Large room very comfortable for a solo stay. Rate included breakfast and dinner both of which were absolutely top quality. Location is 20 min walk from ferry or 800 yen taxi. Very close to the great torii. Could not ask for better.
