The Oriental Jade Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It's a great place to stay in Hanoi's Old Quarter. 1 block away from Hoan Kiem Lake. The first thing you will notice when you come in is the smell of jasmine. The front desk people are very friendly and professional. You will be offered a fresh juice drink and cookies while you are checking in. Breakfast is always good. Lots of variety and you can also order from a small breakfast menu. The staff goes around asking how things are. They are all very friendly and sweet. They even remembered that it was my wife's birthday and had a cake and wine in the room when we came back at the end of the day. All in all, this hotel is very highly rated. Thank you Oriental Jade Hotel and see you next time."
"Our stay at Solaria was excellent! I want to highlight specifically the very high level of service. From our initial check-in, we felt very welcome and were given great advice and useful intention to start our trip to Hanoi and Vietnam. Each colleague we interacted with, and especially the front desk, were extremely helpful and kind. They helped us with getting an early check-in, booking a massage, and as well, preparing a food bag for our long train trip. They remembered details about us (e.g. that one of us was vegetarian), which was really impressive.
The room was perfect for us, clean and spacious, and offered a nice place to relax and sleep.
Breakfast was also a highlight. It’s a mix of ‘à la carte’ and a buffet. Everything we tried was delicious and it’s a shame we were only there one night.
The location of the hotel is also great as it’s central and close to many things (Old Quarter).
We would definitely look to stay again if the hotel is available when visiting Hanoi again. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Thank you again for the wonderful stay!"
"We stayed at this hotel the first time I left my headphones and they saved them for me since we were returning after leaving for 4 nights for an excursion. Loved the service and everything was so lovely. Comfy beds and hot water. The staff was so friendly."
"Beautiful lobby, property, the rooms very very well appointed. Get a suite or Jr suite. A nicely professional staff. Breakfast is extensive and international. The rooftop bar is a plus, although it was rainy for our stay. Can imagine it with a clear, starry night. Very well located in the old town. Highly recumbent."
"Very modern, comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are all excellent - not sure if have experienced better. Would definitely stay again. Thomas, the Concierge, is a legend. "
"Perfect hotel to start our trip in Vietnam. The location is great for exploring. The facilities are clean and they have all of the amenities you could want, I recommend the spa! Special thanks to Mia, Charlotte and Slater for their attentiveness during our stay!"
