We were in town for a baby shower & chose to stay near the airport but did not HEAR the sounds of being by the airport-which was excellent. The property in front of the facility isn't great but that isn't Fairfield's fault. (old restaurant with graffiti painted on the building) The lobby was warm & welcoming & the front desk attendant was friendly. He quickly got us our keys & guided us along with helpful information. Our room was clean & spacious. The closet door is coming off the hinge so we had to lift & push hard. The beds were comfortable & we slept very well. The AC/heating was a little tricky because there is a small contained unit blowing air but it's not adjustable. Common sense should have told me to adjust the thermostat up front. Limited toiletries available in the bathroom but I bring my own lotion & shampoo. So I wasn't bothered. The next guest might have to ask them to bring more or replenish the pumps in the shower. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Scrambled eggs with chives, sausage, assorted cereals & breads, oatmeal with lovely toppings, waffles, yogurt, milks & juices. Simple but many choices and very good. Delicious coffee with plenty of milk & cream. Ample selection of teas as well. They do have staff nearby constantly replenishing food, toppings & beverages. They offer chilled water at the coffee station so take advantage of that. Because paying $8 for two bottled waters on the way out was painful. Overall, it was a nice stay & I'd return.
