Oase des guten Stils voller Liebenswürdigkeit
Das Hotel ist eine Designoase mitten im Trubel der Altstadt im vollem realistischem Leben Havannas. Das gesunde und persönlich immer sehr frisch zubereitete Frühstück ist ein voller Genuss ! Die Lofts und Suiten sind im besonderen Design des Gastgebers und Künstlers Andre Visser gestaltet und mit seinen ausdrucksstarken Gemälden akzentuiert. Ein Traum für Designliebhaber ! Der Gastgeber und sein Team umsorgen die Gāste voller Liebenswürdigkeit und der Organisation persönlich abgestimmter Unternehmungen sowie kulinarisch exquisiten Restaurantbesuchen. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl und gut aufgehoben in dieser menschlichen und herzlichen Athmospäre . Ich werde wiederkommen !

A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE! As Havana (and Cuba) continue to rebuild from the pandemic, AS Boutique Residences provide all the comforts we needed to enjoy our 4 day trip in Havana. EXCELLENT breakfasts and coffee, caring staff, safe and welcoming environment, refined touches and comfort. This a beautiful hotel that did not dissapoint! We'd recommend this establishment to anyone traveling to Havana. It's walking distance to all the major attractions. We felt very safe in this hotel and highly recommend!

The restored mansion is phenomenal. The staff is customer service-oriented, and communication is one of their strengths. We also booked a tour through the hotel and were very pleased. 24-hour service, security is available. Additionally, our package included breakfast, which was delicious. If you are a coffee connoisseur, you will be very pleased. I would recommend the property to anyone visiting Cuba.

Beautiful and classy property. Good central location. It’s in Old Havana so a slight culture shock at first as a result of the mixture of gorgeous architecture and run down nature or the whole area. The hotel is immaculate and marvellous.

Das Zimmer war kleiner wie meine Abstellkammer zu Hause. Selbst für eine Person sehr klein, wir waren aber zu zweit. An auspacken vom Koffer ist nicht zu denken, denn man kann nirgendwo seine Kleidung ablegen. Es stehen fünf Kleiderbügel zur Verfügung. Das zur Verfügung gestellte kostenfreie Wasser ist eher ein Witz, als dass man den kleinen Schluck als nette Geste bezeichnen könnte. Spricht man den Chef und Eigentümer auf die kleinen Platzverhältnisse an, wird man nur dumm angemacht. Mit einem VIP Kunden kann man auch anders umgehen. Ein Upgrade stand angeblich nicht zur Verfügung, obwohl wir gesehen haben, dass nicht alle Zimmer ausgebucht waren. Positiv zu bewerten ist, dass es sauber war, das Bett gut, ein gutes Frühstück, und das Personal versucht so freundlich wie möglich zu sein (was in ihren Möglichkeiten steht).

In the middle of our first night the electricity went off. We woke up sweaty- no AC, no fan, in complete darkness. In the morning, we were informed they were working on restoring. No breakfast obviously. We went out, came back around noon- nothing is changed. I asked for some flashlight, as it is dark like in the cave in that room. They didn't have any. We used our phones to light up the way to the bathroom. We told staff if electricity isn't back on at 4pm we will move out and to tell owners we need refund as we can't use our room. Went out again. Came back- no electricity- so we are moving out. THEY REFUSED REFUND, EVEN AFTER I TRIED REASONING WITH THE OWNER. THEIR POLICY INCL BUILDING COLLAPSE AS NO REASON FOR REFUND! Now here is the thing- being Americans we have a limited choice when it comes to hotels, we cannot use any government properties, so we chose the best possible option out of privately owned hotels, and also their best room- at close to $300/ night. You would think at that price point they will have some CUSTOMER SERVICE? They don't. Thankfully I recorded conversations and conditions, and filed a complaint with Expedia. The owner came up with all sorts of lies and made up stories too, childish if you ask me. About hotel: it is an OLD BUILDING pretending to be artsy by hanging some abstracts, that a 6yo could paint, on the walls. We could smell musky odor they are trying to hide with countless air fresheners, after AC was off. Not worth it. Not recommended.

Such an amazing hotel! The work and pride that was put into the renovation and upkeep of this place blew us away. The owner and staff were so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is located in the best place in Old Havana, designed in a modern way while preserving the local materials. The service is pleasant and inviting and the breakfast is great. Highly recommended for those who wish to enjoy the real Havana contact with the locals, while maintaining a very high level of services and comfort.

Andre and his team were absolutely incredible hosts! The residence itself is beautiful inside and out - we spent a lot of time on the roof top patio, which had gorgeous views. Breakfast was amazing and every possible need/request was met. Andre arranged wonderful day tours for us, which were some of the best memories! Excellent restaurant recommendations and reservation assistance! Thank you all for a wonderful week. We’ll be back!

Superb stay
Wonderful stay. Andre and Sandy are perfect hosts - super organised and very passionate about creating a peaceful and interesting experience for their guests. The hotel is very comfortable, the historic building has been beautifully restored and the team are all super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Everything about to be written won’t be enough to describe the experience, the welcome, the warmth, the services, the design and the beauty of this boutique hotel. Both Andre & Sandi are among the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met. The rest of the team (housekeeping/ Bar) also so friendly and kind. Top location, safe environment. Great place in La Habana Vieja
I’m really happy I found this place for my first visit to Cuba and Habana. It was a great way to start my stay, especially getting the walking tour they provided when I first arrived, so I could get the lay of the land a little easier. I stayed for four nights and I very much hope to come back. The milieux is beautiful, not least the lovely roof terrace. The experience leaves my wanting to describe it more, but I feel I can’t do it justice with words, so I just recommend going if you get the chance.

Un oasis dentro de la Habana
Un excelente trato por parte de todooo el staf del hotel. El trato afable de sus propietarios Andre y Sandy te hace sentir entre amigos. Las instalaciones impecables, el breakfast sustancioso y, delicioso. El vecindario super pintoresco y, los servicios extras que ofrece el hotel son el complemento perfecto. Awful experience - would not recommend this place
As a solo female traveller, I will forever be disgusted by the actions of Andre, Sandy and their employees. I booked here, despite it being costlier, as I wanted a personal touch. I did not get that. Andre was controlling, passive-aggressive and hostile to the point that I would only interact with him as needed. They charge way more than the going rate for taxis and tours. Airport pickup is 70 euros, double the usual cost. Their classic car tour is not better, other companies provide an actual tour guide along with a driver at the price they charge. The driver provided by them was rude and unprofessional. He took calls, listened to and replied to voice-notes whilst ignoring me. He also shouted at a homeless woman who asked him for money. I told Andre about this and he accepted the driver’s lies and didn’t offer a compensatory tour. Whilst unwell, I was treated badly by them. I had an awful headache, amongst other symptoms so I made a reasonable request to turn down the loud music played during breakfast. The owner's response was to not only refuse but turn the volume up even though I was the only person in the restaurant and also shout at me. He then cancelled the late check-in agreed - which I needed as I was unwell. At this point I decided to leave before check-out as I no longer felt safe or welcome. After leaving, I got an email from them full of false accusations & threats. I have travelled globally and NEVER experienced such awful behaviour so cannot ever recommend.

An artful and comfortable boutique hotel in the heart of Old Havana. Delicious breakfast with the best coffee and fresh juices. The hotel’s art tour gave us access to some of Cuba’s best contemporary artists in their studios and homes. An unforgettable experience all around. We will be back.
