Im a traveling nurse...the staff consistency picked wih me im guessing bc there use to dealing with the homeless! Everyday they were on my phone complaining about something. Had me leave my job threatening to place my things outside based on a payment due a day early. Pray for there mindset bc there horrible. ROACHES ROACHES AND MORE ROACHES HORRIBLE!!

Staff was great, 2nd room was nice
When we arrived, the lobby was locked and we had to check in behind a glass window with a open door to pass paperwork through (we got there around 5:30 so still daylight out). We checked in and were given our room key. Walk into the room, turn the lights on and immediately roaches scatter. I called down to the desk and explained this and she immediately offered another 'premium' room. Walked into this room and no bugs (we checked everywhere). The bedding was great, room was nice and clean. We could tell this was a hotel where people were living. Everyone we encountered were super nice so it didn't bother us because we know times are hard. We didn't see any type of criminal activities, but, we went out to dinner and came back and there was a police vehicle driving through the parking lot. Although it made me feel safer, it also made me worry about what actually goes on there. Like I said though, everyone we encountered was very nice, respectful (even the youth), so we didn't stress over it. The TV in the room just said 'no service', but we were tired so that wasn't a big deal. When we went to leave the next morning, as soon as I opened the door all I could smell was weed (like overbearing as if they were standing outside our door). We were leaving so didn't bother me and it's something you smell everywhere now anyway. Overall the staff was great, the 2nd room ended up being great, but not somewhere I would pick to stay again if we traveled through here in the future.

Front desk person was very rude. Asking me to repeat my phone number instead of asking me to write it down while another client (male) was right behind me late at night check in. Large gatherings of people (loitering or guests?- I don't know) outside in the parking lot late at night. I didn't feel very safe. Room smelled like the tried to cover up the smoke smell. I should have complained and left, but I didnt want the crowd of people seeing I was a single woman by myself walking to office then perhaps walking back to another room. I should know better than to take a chance on a "red roof". Ugh. At Over 230/night, I thought perhaps it would be better. Also, not that I cared, but room furniture was shabby, beat up and looked like sh*t. Don't stay here, it's not worth it and the room STUNK!

Our stay was in conjunction to a function at a local University. We checked in late (approx 11pm local time). Upon entering the room, we were struck with the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke/use. Additionally, the tub/shower appeared to not have been cleaned and the bathroom door/doorknob was broken/damaged. Also upon arrival, there was a woman essentially driving laps (at a HIGH rate of speed) around the property's parking lot (driving an older Honda Pilot). I would NOT be comfortable recommending this property to anyone. Most certainly will NOT be staying at this property again (or possibly even any Red Roof property)

Appearances are deceiving
The first room smelled of smoke and we asked to be moved and they did, and there was so much noise we asked to be moved to the other side where it was quiet and they wouldn't do it. The room was clean but pretty run down. The dresser drawers were disgusting and we didn't even want to put our clothes in it.There was paint peeling off the ceiling, and other things in the room need a lot of attention. The mattress was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on the floor. Overall, very disappointing and the last time I will stay at a red roof inn.

Is what it is
Nothing to brag about, but as usual you get what you pay for at a $100 a night. Sketchy people roaming around. Front Desk charged me for a $100 deposit that took 3 days to get back to my CC which is odd because he it been a deposit hold it would’ve been returned back quicker. Besides that like I mentioned you get what you pay for.

This is not an actual hotel. It is an apartment complex for low income and families on Welfare. It felt like I spent 3 days in the projects. The building is run down. The rooms are dirty and outdated. There was a dead roach smashed on the wall, sticky floor, the room stank like mildew and cigarettes. Thye say its non-smoking, but people are smoking in those rooms. The parking lot os filled with children dirty and no shoes running around up and down the halls and stairs. Thye are screaming, yelling and riding bikes. Some were fighting. Garbage in parking lot from the people who live there. Dirty homeless looking people in the parking lot at all hours sitting at picnic benches. Thye are smoking weed, doing drugs, drinking beer, listening to music. Not safe at all. People asking for money and cigarettes at all hours. This "hotel" is off the highway, and it feels like its own dirty little city, isolated from everything else. The manager said he couldn't care as long as the people who lived there had money. If you like staying in a ghetto - you will LOVE it here! Worst experience of my life!
