Great all inclusive
This place was very beautiful and it is very big, so bring comfortable shoes if you are placed in a room that is far from the main restaurants and pool areas. Especially in the buffet restaurant, which has breakfast every morning but you need to reserve the day before for breakfast. It was strange that you have to make your dinner reservations at 7am every day, that is very counter-intuitive. They accommodated a reservation for our 2 people table because it was my husband's birthday after I begged even though I went right at 7am and got to the desk around 7:20, they said the restaurant we wanted was full, when we went that evening, the restaurant only had about 4 tables of people there. It was strange. If you are leaving that day they also do not provide you with water, so you are out of luck if you already cut your wristband and didn't acquire water somewhere else. Make sure to bring a water bottle or container for your drinks. Most servers were nice, a few of them could see you had been waiting to get a drink but they kept chatting with other servers. The club could use air conditioning or at least some fans because it gets extremely hot in there. Overall it has a nice atmosphere and I would recommend.

Not a friendly, informative staff. Guests were all over the resort, lost because the front desk couldn't explain much. The staff were unfamiliar with their own facility. The people that were in the resort were not Salvadorian, many people from Guatemala and Honduras.

Horrible food and service
This is a very disorganized hotel. Employees are not cross-trained to help you in anything but the task that they do. The “all-inclusive” that they advertise is not really true. Everything is by reservation, which wouldn’t be a problem, except for the fact that it is extremely difficult to make those reservations. You are only able to reserve a day at a time at specific times during the day and the app they use does not work reliably. This means that instead or relaxing on your trip, you are constantly trying to keep track of the time (not only to make new reservations but to also attend the ones you have made). The buffets are not good at all, and the restaurants are very difficult to book. The phones in the rooms do not work and getting answers from staff is impossible (even as a fluent Spanish speaker). As someone who has traveled to many countries, I do not recommend this hotel and do not plan on staying here again. We left our reservation early.

Hotel con instalaciones ya viejas
Es un hotel que tiene instalaciones viejas y algunas cosas no servían en mi habitación. No cuenta con Kleenex , ni muchas amenidades en la habitación . Además intenté pedir una plancha para ropa y me dijeron que no era seguro que tuvieran durante mis días de estancia . Horarios reducidos de comida . Las camaristas nos apoyaron dentro de lo que pudieron . Falta mejorar servicio el cliente .

I noticed that our Room needs to be more cleaned and updated, as the walls paint craked. Upon arrival found set of towels for 2, as I opened the fridge, a cascaded water. Everyday had to call 2-3 times for two extra towels as we're 4 and everytime they left only two. Waiting took forever. Now, the food was much better from the last time we stayed. Pools are exceptional. From this experience we're not sure if we want to come back to Salinitas. Look for other options.

This property is rusting throughout all the buildings. Inside my room, there was mold in various places and although I had booked for three nights, I had to leave after the first night because my mother is 65 and she was starting to feel the effects of the mold. The staff would only switch us into another room but in seeing the entire property have issues, it was not a safe choice for me to stay with my family and expose my mother to additional mold. The staff was not communicating with each other after I spoke to the manager and checking out was a nightmare. The staff would not provide any helpful information on how to proceed with cancelling the add to all two days I was not going to stay at the hotel. No one knew how I could reach their customer service line nor what was going to happen after spending close to $1000 for a property that was not in good conditions. The food was not at temperature either and this also added to the concern that this was not a suitable place for my elder mother, my minor nephew myself or my brother. I am still trying to figure out how to get reimbursed because this is the worse experience I have gone through.
