We booked this hotel on a whim, and liked it so much we stayed again when we drove through Panama City Beach on the way back home.
The pool is clean and very warm, and the jacuzzi is the same, though unfortunately we were unable to activate the spa function, despite numerous attempts at various times of day.
The access to the beach is directly past the pool, and the views from the upper floors are spectacular during sunrise and sunset.
Our room was clean and as promised, but be sure to book the view you want, as rooms without a listed water view are across the street in an annex building. (Not the case for us, but worth mentioning) We stayed in a room with an included kitchen, and while the room was obviously cleaned, there was a very pungent (and unplesant) cooking odor from previous guests... This is not the fault of the hotel entirely, but it would have been nice if the room had been more aired out before our arrival, perhaps during servicing.
Parking is limited and your car may be in an auxilary lot depending on your arrival time. Getting to and from the vehicle may involve crossing a busy street.
Staff were friendly, and there was coffee in the lobby whenever we wanted it, including flavored creamers. Tea selection was limited.
Ultimately, this is a great stay for a little beach getaway.
