Located between Collins Street and Liverpool Street, this shopping mall also has a wide range of food options so you can keep your energy up while you shop. Salamanca Market

Running every Saturday, regardless of the weather, Salamanca Market is the place to come for local produce. With over 300 stalls each week, the market includes fresh produce from local growers, gift ideas, handmade products and lots of hot food and coffee to keep you going.
Extending the full length of the historic Salamanca Place, Salamanca Market is a unique place where you can mingle with locals, ask the producers questions about their products and produce and soak up the lively atmosphere. The Cat & Fiddle Arcade

Farm Gate Market
A bustling farmers’ market

Every Sunday, Farm Gate Market springs up overnight, working under the ethos that if you couldn’t eat it, drink it, grow it or meet the producer, you won’t find at Farmy. Starting in 2009 with 12 producers, it’s grown quite a bit since then and is now one of Australia’s top 5 farmers’ markets.
Located on Bathurst Street, between Elizabeth and Murray Street, local produce is celebrated here. Tasmania has very distinct seasons and so you’ll see this reflected in what’s on offer each week. The market also has sustainability at its core, so you won’t find any plastic bags here as all packaging is compostable.
