The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming, helpful with any queries, and very friendly throughout our stay. The entire property was clean and well-maintained, and our room was spacious, allowing us to have a restful night's sleep.
Unfortunately, the breakfast, which many had praised, did not live up to the expectations for us. The food didn’t seem fresh; there were fruit flies everywhere, even in the orange juice. Many of the meat slices appeared as though they had been sitting out for days. It was only on the third day that we accidentally discovered they offer cappuccinos if you ask, which wasn’t communicated earlier. The muesli was left uncovered in a bowl, which was not very appealing. By the last two days of our stay, we struggled to find anything at breakfast that still looked edible.
On a positive note, the restaurant opposite the hotel served great food, which was a bonus, especially after a long day of work. Additionally, just down the road, there’s a lovely ice cream parlour that we can also highly recommend.
Overall, while the stay was comfortable and the staff excellent, the breakfast was disappointing and could use improvement. As breakfast is a big part of our working day, I can only give the hotel 3 stars overall. If that were to improve, I wouldn't hesitate to give 5 stars.
