Pros: breakfast, free parking, overall nice facility, great location. Cons: hotel switched us from King room to 2 queen with conflicting stories, no microwave, one nightstand, small bathroom counter, stained sectional leaving only one chair to sit in.

Our Favorite layover on our way to Florida
This is our normal stopping point on our way to Florida. We have been staying here since it opened and have been very pleased. It is clean, safe, convenient. The staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean, well designed, and functional.

Only one flaw
Everything about it was very good. Except the parking. It's a minor inconvenience - and I get the limited options downtown - but it was the only negative to our stay. A hike like that could be a challenge to the elderly, infirmed, or even to everybody in extreme weather. Precipitation, sub-freezing temps, high humidity, or heavy rain. Glad it wasn't one of those for our stay.

Good location but Poor service
I chose this hotel because it has onsite restaurant. I found out that due to shortage in staff, the restaurant was closed. I guess that applied to the front desk. I could not find any front desk personnel when I was checking out on Thursday morning. Nice location but it lacks service.

This hotel looks great from the outside and has very nice outdoor seating. It also has a very convenient unloading/loading area which you will need because parking is across the street in a far-off lot. We parked and then walked to dinner. We didn't need our car again until we checked out. Cute little downtown area. We had a very good dinner at Wholly Smokin. The hotel has an appealing lobby and bar. However, the elevators seem dated and doors on every floor for every guest room are scarred and have paint chipping. Our room though was spacious, clean and modern. We also found breakfast to be pretty good with lots of options. I would stay here again if ever nearby.

Friday night customer service sucked
We arrived at the hotel around 8pm.I walked in the front door and was immediately greeted, which was nice. Check in was quick and smooth. I was told where to park and began to head that way. Once we were able to get parked we realized it is not a safe walk back to the hotel. For 2 women at night walking from a parking lot away from the hotel, near an abandoned building and behind trash cans is not safe. So I recommend getting there earlier in the day if your alone . We got to our room and it was nice and clean. Decided we wanted to go grab some food and decided on the hotel restaurant. Went down stairs, sat down and everyone turned to look at us and resumed thier conversations. This included the front desk clerk and bartender. We were never greeted, never told where we should order at nor offered any drinks.The staff walked around cutting up with each other and the other guest whom appeared to be thier friends. Never once spoke to us. After about 10 minutes we got up and walked out. We found a restaurant across the street that was very welcoming. We arrived back and the staff was still struggling with friendliness. The lady who worked the desk Friday night also worked it Sat afternoon and had absolutely no personality or excellent customer service to offer. There was a different lady there after 8 that was very pleasant and welcoming and helpful in telling us we could park closer. Over all the hotel is great but the two friends are not an assets to the hotel.

A great place to stay
Room was very spacious. The bar and restaurant were very convenient, and great food. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The bed could have been a little softer, and the door to the accessible room was a bit of a struggle to open from a mobility scooter - but that is the same everywhere. If I had to pick one thing to improve, it would be the parking situation - particularly for the disabled. Overall, a very nice stay.
