Did not meet expectations
Things that were nice: The entry lobby and hallways were recently redone and it looked really nice. The rooms are ok, it was comfortable - though there was way too much furniture squeezed into a small space. The breakfast had lots of options and it was easy to get everything we wanted. The courtyard / layout of the building is unique and it could be really nice if someone actually finished renovating it.
Things that were terrible: The bathroom was dirty - grime all over the shower tile, hair in the tub, and blood on the bathroom wall. The pool was not properly chlorinated, which means it was so cloudy it was not swimmable (possibly filled with bacteria). All of the doors were old, which means they were barely secure. And there was no security. Anyone could walk off the street and walk right to a hotel room door.
Also, someone smoked in their hotel room near us and the entire building smelled like cigarettes.
