Stay was good, only downfall is only one elevator working and the one that is working extremely slow, and the wait time is 3-5 mins at one time waited on elevator for to long took stairs and made it lobby before the elevator moved

The Hampton Horror
So sorry we booked ahead without seeing our room. I expected a lot more from the Hampton Inn. The floors were disgusting paint chipped on dressers, bathroom tub rusted and stained, hand bars falling off the wall, mattress uncomfortable, mattress was sloping the foot of your bed was higher than your head. If we hadn't been traveling 12 hours and so totally exhausted with would have gone back on the road. And then to be charged $75 USD for a small dog, we are appalled and will not go to a Hampton Inn again.

Terribly dirty!!
This hotel is undergoing renovations, which is fine, but it is not fine to have a filty hotel. We walked into our room, the bathroom was filty and there was a layer of sticky scum on all surfaces. The door was dirty, and got my white shirt streaked with black grim. We asked for a different room, and the room we got was not much better, but doable for 1 night. There were dirty foot prints and handprints all over the floor and walls, especially in the elevator. Would never stay there again. Reminded me of a Motel 6. Terrible

Letdown in Princeton
Very overpriced given hotel undergoing renovation and our room was dated. Noise from utility workers who were staying at the hotel. Rude. Loud when going to their rooms at night and they all seemed to let doors slam at 6 am when leaving. One of two elevators in service.

Avoid this Hampton Inn in Princeton
We prebooked here for two nights 12 days apart, a month in advance. There was no indication on the booking page that the hotel was under construction/renovation. As such, there was debris and dust throughout the hallway. On the first night the wifi didn't work and the front desk was unable to provide a solution. We then tried to cancel our second reservation four days ahead of our booked night and the hotel refused to cancel indicating the cancellation fee would be 100% the amount of the room cost. When we grudgingly showed up at the hotel on the 2nd stay, there were signs posted saying if we were unhappy with all the renovation work we could cancel for a full refund. BUT THEY ORIGINALLY DECLINED AND WE WERE ALREADY THERE!!! We have happily stayed at Hampton Inns across Canada and the US many times but this was easily the worst Hampton Inn we've ever stayed at. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Just ok
It wasn't bad, but it was excellent. So I was suprised because of the high rating the hotel had. They are currently renovating, so hopefully it will look nicer. In our room the vanity was pretty beat up, the bedspread had a stain, one of the curtains that block the closet area was off track. I found the bed to be uncomfortable. The staff the we encountered were very nice. (Front desk/breakfast attendant)

Rooms were not cleaned
We ended up having them cancel our reservation because they had no CLEAN rooms available. They had empty rooms that showed as available to book, but they were still dirty from the night before. They had construction happening and for some reason that would have caused housekeeping to go into overtime, which they would not allow. They assured that we would receive a refund but that hasn’t happened. We also used all our keys cash so that was wasted. The front desk person, Donna, was awesome, none of this was her fault. After attempts to get in touch with management she finally heard back from the youngest/newest manager-Jazmine- who called other hotels to see who had availability. Very disappointed in losing our $150 plus keyscash as well as the balance on our credit card. Don’t recommend this location!!

Average roadside hotel
The hotel was under renovations which was a bit messy trying to get to our room. The king bed had tiny pillows. The tv was large and there were 2 chairs in the room which was nice. The tub was worn and would not bath in it. Was okay for a shower. The bed was only okay. Not super comfy. It was doable for an overnight stay.
