After a seven-hour drive, I arrived at the hotel where we had reserved a suite a month in advance. However, when we arrived, the room was uncomfortably hot, and there was only a portable air conditioner, despite our reservation for a suite. I approached the receptionist for assistance, but he was unhelpful and responded to each inquiry with, “I can’t do anything for you. You can talk to the manager tomorrow morning.” When I asked, “How can I sleep tonight?” his response was the same.
