Terrible visit
The place was stinky and very dirty. There was a sign explaining that there was no maid service? Maybe why it’s so filthy. There were broken tiles in the elevator, the elevator hade something sticky on the buttons. The sheets were thread bare. One comforter had stains.

first we had to change rooms because the light didn't work, no maid service, the breakfast was not ready and only served from 6 am to 9 am, shady people outside, also my prebooked reservation said nothing about a $50 deposit

Stay Somewhere Else!
Would not recommend this hotel. Pretty run down and outdated. The elevator did not work properly…it would go up but not down. The side entrance near our room did not work and could not be used as well as the fridge in our room. Their breakfast is a joke. The waffle iron was broke so we were left with toast, a bagel or cereal.

Decent but not great
First of all the gentleman in charge was WONDERFUL! Very pleasant at check in, then our bathroom lightbulb burned out so he was very quick to change it and apologized multiple times for the inconvenience. He was a gem! The hotel itself was very dated which wasn’t an issue but it’s definitely had several “patch jobs” instead of actual fix’s & it showed. Several tiles in the elevator & our bathroom were cracked, chipped, or just gone! The elevator buttons were slightly broken, which was concerning, & cleanliness was questionable. There was dust & dirt in several places but thankfully the beds were clean. For a 1 night stay it was fine & I can’t say enough how great the service was, was could definitely use some updating & maybe a new cleaning service. Location wise it was great too! Shops & food options within literal steps! It was also a short drive to the family arena, which was what we were there for.

We were very unhappy at this hotel. There was a hole in the door in the bathroom. The TV was not working and the clerk at the desk gave many different excuses. After a couple hours of irritation he finally came in to address it. Had made excuses

The heat and AC unit made a terrible squealing noise. Some electrical outlets and lights did not work. Generally, it needed many repairs and updates. They had no maid service, so the cleanliness was suspect.

Sub Par stay
The hotel is not in the standards that I'm used to using when I travel. Online the room boasted a whirlpool tub...there were no knobs, drain plug and the tub was not clean. The room was on the main floor, and this was also disappointing this was to be an accessible type of room. With my short stature I had to climb over the side of the tub to shower, not very safe. The bathroom tile was falling off around floor area, and the room smelled. The first morning for breakfast there was NO coffee, one piece of toast left, no fruit, yogurt, no waffle maker mix, so much for breakfast. The place was a huge disappointment. The next morning, we just left and went somewhere else for breakfast. I will never choose this place or another Americas Best type of hotel. Because of my work I had to sit in the lobby to get the Wi-Fi to work to get my reports done, I thought that was what my room was for, relax and complete my work.

Hotel is economical in need of refurbish and repair but not bad for the price. Location is great, close to the river and historic downtown district. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to shopping and Basspro.

It’s a place to stay especially if we were in the 90’s. That’s about it. Room smells like cigarettes and old smoke. Continental breakfast…. Should have stated they only offer cereal with spoiled milk. Ice machines broke. Elevator has broken floor and is sketchy. No maid service?? AC in room not working. At best it cools to 75 degrees. Pictures and description do not match what you get. The old saying you get what you pay for is accurate. We thought by using Hotels.com we could view many different options with comfort in knowing that what you see is what you get but that is not the case here. What you see advertised is NOT what you get. Not sure if I’d use this service again.

For starters the exterior was ok. The check in process was a little long. Got to our room only to find the door was already open. The reason for this was the door lock was broken. You could only close the door with the handle turned. So from the inside or swipe the key to turn the handle then close. The room was not clean and the bed linens were stained. There was garbage left in the refrigerator and in the night stand. The overall condition of the room was less than appealing. Minimal repairs with less than quality. Definitely won't be back.
