Our flight got cancelled and we booked this place because Thon Hotel where we stayed at previously was fully booked and we liked its location and noted that Scandic was just beside. However, although we paid double the price at Scandic, the rooms were smaller, views weren’t as great and most of all, staff there were all grumpy and receptionist that tended to us was rude. We simply asked if we could get an earlier check in if there was a room available as we were tired and had a lot of manage with our flight cancellation but she showed zero empathy and was simply brushed us away and asked us to come back later to ask, without giving any time or more information. For the amount we paid, we definitely do expect some better service here. Scandic, if you do not want to lose your customers to a better player you have just opposite you, please retrain your staff or maybe reduce your prices.
