Fantastic hotel, with all it's history lovingly and sympathetically included in its design. The staff were brilliant- friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond for my partners Birthday, which was the reason for our stay. The room was spotless, well laid out, and the amenities were of a high standard. If we ever visit Leicester again, this would be my first choice of hotel.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Grand Hotel and would definitely return. Our room was exceptionally clean and clearly very well prepared—Kannika had done a fantastic job getting everything ready for our arrival. The room itself looked recently refurbished, with a fresh and modern feel that made it very comfortable. Despite being in the city centre, which can be quite noisy at night, we slept incredibly well. The windows did a great job of blocking out the outside noise, and we had two wonderfully restful nights with no disturbance from other guests either. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the service made it even better. The lady who served us, I believe her name was Anya, was delightful—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There was a small inconvenience during our stay as the main lift wasn’t working, meaning we had to use the back lift. However, the reception team handled this very kindly by waiving the parking fee, which we really appreciated. It’s clear that the hotel is in the process of being updated. The main entrance and restaurant have been refurbished to a very high standard, while some areas like the corridors and staircases are still undergoing improvements. That said, this didn’t impact our stay at all, especially given how comfortable and well-finished our room was. Overall, a very positive experience—we would happily stay here again

Room was clean, newly refurbished and very nicely furnished and decorated, as was the rest of the hotel. The food was excellent and the bar service was great. The hotel had not long reopened after refurbishment, so there were a few teething problems during my stay, but the staff were friendly, helpful and resolved everything quickly. I had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.
