Room was clean and bath amenities were provided. The room served its purpose. The Internet access was down from 10:00 p.m. my second night to sometime either in the morning or afternoon of the following day, which prevented me from sending work status reports in a timely manner. The staff indicated that since the hotel had transferred ownership that Internet access went down occasionally. Something I believe if actually true, should be disclosed upfront, either in the Hotels.com listing or onsite when the user checks in. Also the hotel was difficult to locate when traveling from the train station to the hotel as the Hotel had its old signage up (it apparently was formerly called the Found hotel). There was no outside signage, of any kind, that indicated that it was the Ivy Hotel Boston Commons. After several minutes wandering around the block searching for the hotel entrance, I finally just walked into the Found hotel and learned it was the Ivy. This is something else that should have been disclosed on the Hotels.com listing so travelers wouldn't have to waste time trying to locate it when in Boston. Other than that the staff were pleasant and the hotel room was usable.

The room was clean, however the shower floor was black. I am not sure why it hasn't been bleached or done over. The girl at the desk was not helpful at all. My friend and I asked her if she had any nearby food recommendations and she told me to "look places up on google and use my maps and that I would figure it out." You can hear everything going on in the surrounding rooms, as they are super tiny and in close quarters. If you are staying on the weekend, be sure to be kept up all night from the nearby clubs, screaming, and street noise. Overall it is fine if you are traveling alone and have no standards and are a sound sleeper. I would not book this hotel again.

Staff was top notch. The room didn’t have anywhere to hang clothes or a stand to put a suit case. There was no soap. Just shampoo, liquid hand soap on the wall and hand lotion. No frills, the room was clean and a comfy bed - the price was reasonable for Boston. Walking distance to Boston Common, theatre district and Chinatown.

My Room was enough for me. And I don’t know anything about parking situation only because I did travel to Boston by Bus. I do love it where you are located because The Wilbur Theatre,Boch Center-Wang Theatre,Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre,Boch Center-Schubert Theatre & AMC Movie Theatre are all little walking distance to your hotel.

Hotel was quaint and in a perfect location for our quick spring break trip with our daughter. The room has a curtain divider which worked out nicely for the 3 of us. Very close to China Town and the Freedom trail. Each staff member was very courteous and greeted us each time we came and went. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean room, very comfy bed and bedding. The room was perfect for one. Staff very nice. Slightly thin walls, but the other occupants were relatively quiet. Elevator was rather loud and rattling, but it’s an older building. Otherwise, wonderful stay, would do it again.
