New day in Farmington.
Was awesome. Actuay far exeded my expectations. In whole dude to the unbelivable beautiful soul they have atcthe front desk. They finaly got it right with the switch of staf. Farmington finaly has some better more welcoming people to greet them now. The Quality Inn. Top Notch.

Do not recommend
Disappointing! We were given a room on the outside of the building. Once inside, we discovered that the extra lock on the door was broken. We did not feel safe! We had been hiking all day and all I wanted was a hot bath. Nope! The water barely reached what I consider warm. The “cherry on top” came as since it was NYE, the party above us went on ALL NIGHT! Loud banging, doors slamming, total chaos. And no one did a thing to quiet them down. We “slept” with our tv on just to try and drown out the noise. Don’t even get me started on the condition of the bathroom. It’s particle board door and the buildup of dirt in the corners of the floor. Overall, we couldn’t wait to get out of this room.

Dog-friendly, Not Pet-Friendly
Hotel claims to be pet friendly, but when we checked in they mentioned that they don’t usually allow cats, which is what we have. They checked us in despite having a cat, but did not charge or even mention the pet fee upfront. On the second night of our trip, staff ambushed my husband at 10 pm at night in the hallway asking if we had a pet. They said we were not allowed to have a pet, as we were in a non-pet friendly room. This made no sense as we had mentioned having a cat at check-in. Staff stood outside room as my husband came in to our room to tell me about the situation. This is when we found out about the pet fee, and we paid without fuss. It is worth mentioning this staff member was not the one who checked us in and who we informed of us having a cat. If the hotel is not going to allow cats, they should change their listing to simply say “dog-friendly” instead of pet friendly. Also, communication among staff members will continue to lead to issues such as this in the future if not improved upon.

Killed a cockroach in minutes after laying down a personal piece on the night stand, privacy door between rooms would not lock, entry door didn’t close properly and let a lot of cold air in, bathroom had of maintenance issues !!!

I like booking a motel room with a smaller building. This is two floors, but not sure whether or not there is an elevator. I felt my room was well prepared and very secure. I sleep at another random location while using all the amenities because I believe the microclimates and local overnight operations of the urban area are dangerous to my personal health.

The night front desk person was pleasant. The room was disgusting. The towels were rough and dirty. The TV even had a blob of what looked like spit across it. The mirrors had spots from the last guest soap. The chairs were so stained you could not tell what the original color of the fabric was. The beds did look clean thank God. Out back was a pile of old mattresses. The breakfast area was dirty, and the tables were not wiped down. We breakfast itself was terrible with old sausage links and half cooked scrambled eggs. One of the worst places we had ever stayed. Very disappointed in Quality Inn.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! I was double charged for my room and have been calling for weeks to them to resolve their error without any success. When I was asked for my credit card for the incidentals, the front desk worker charged me for the room! I called back the next day once I noticed my credit card charge, and it took over two hours to speak to someone on the phone. The manager never calls me back and their customer service line was unable to refund me the money. So unless you want to pay twice for your room, I highly recommend booking elsewhere!
