Great for business meetings
Hired a meeting room and booked 5 rooms with breakfast, some confusion over booking but all resolved smoothly and apologised. Food was excellent, as was the service. Will definitely use again.

Working away
My room was well equiped and clean.
There was damage to bathroom floor tiles and sink, controls on the shower were damaged but everything was clean and everything worked.
Tje little coffee maker was great once I figured it out and the welcome chocolate chip cookie was very nice.
My food, a chicken burger and fries was only warm, not hot. It was tasty though.
The parking was £8 which i wadnt aware of until I had booked.
Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice.

Needs renovating, great staff, poor breakfast
The hotel is in need of renovation, but is clean. Our room was ice cold (we were cold in there with our coats on) when we arrived, it took quite a while before we could heat up he room to a comfortable temperature as the start temperature was so low.
The staff are all very helpful and professional.
The breakfast is terrible. The croissants were stale, the processed cheese slices were sweaty and curled up in the corners, the scrambled eggs looked like they were cooked in a microwave. The quality of the food is poor and very processed.

Unfortunate enforced layover in Bristol
I was charged £43 for parking + pet! The alarm went off at 3:45 and the hotel was evacuated. It turned out to be a false alarm (or a cruel fire drill during bad weather). No apology the next morning or complimentary coffee....I expected as much. The UK, outside London generally disappoints

Could be better
Stayed for 1 night on New Years eve. They shut the bar at 23:00. Although they were still serving drinks to a private party. After complaining to the night receptionist/ manager , who was none to helpful. Eventually a young lady served me ( allowing customers to put drinks on our room numbers ). Then at 04:00 the entire hotel had to be emptied due to a fire alarm being set off. The next morning before we left , we used the pool. All was good , until having a shower afterwards ( all the shower gel receptacles were empty ).
Breakfast was very good !!
