Check-in was a disaster. My room was not ready although it had been booked for at least a month or more. They wanted me to switch rooms and give up my king size bed for two double beds because the room was not ready. After 20 minutes of waiting, I finally got in and the smell of their cleaning products was so overpowering it made me physically sick, and I had to leave the room.
They opened the door to air it out, and when I came back an hour later, it was STILL overpowering. They had to bring a ventilation fan to the room for the night. Had I not had something to do during that hour I’d havebeen sitting in the lobby, the entire time, waiting for a room that still would not have been ready after an hour, and I would’ve continued to have to either sit in the lobby or just put up with the smell and loud, noisy fan, which is what I did because I wasn’t going to just waste time outside my hotel room when I had things to do and I booked the room for a specific reason and that was to get ready for a very big/important event the next morning. Because of them not being prepared, it put me behind and kept me up late because I could not do what I needed to do when I got there. This hotel is definitely for people that LOVE fluorescent lighting. The entire room had bright white fluorescent lighting. The entire room, bathroom, bedside lights. EVERY light! It was very uninviting and I had to sit in the dark in the evening because the light was so bright. Noise level high. Save your $$$.
