The hotel has a lot of pools (although the hot tub was dirty and a bit stinky), fun planned activities for kids, and access to tradewinds. With that said, the rooms are very dated. The staff at the front desk wasn’t always there, and our phone wouldn’t even connect to the front desk! Our friends booked a balcony room, only to find their definition of some “balconies” was a sliding glass door with a gate over it. The kind you see in unfinished homes. They would not change rooms or refund them the price difference, and it was several staff members before someone acknowledged this was not a true balcony. They also advertise a lot of things for kids to do, but many of them cost a significant amount of extra money.

The hotel facilities were excellent. The beach was as described - wonderful. Unfortunately we were located on the 5th floor with no functioning elevator and small children. The room layout was as described but the decor and condition of the room was severely dated and in need of refurbishment. Stay away from the Mahi block until a refurbishment takes place and the elevator is fixed (otherwise you are forced to enter the block via the car park). Away from the room, the family had an excellent vacation

The resort is nice however the infrastructure is showing its age. The elevators acted up with one not stopping on our floor even when floor button lit. It took two tries up and down before it opened on the ground floor and we walked up. That elevator was down for maintenance the next day. We were offered an upgrade to a beach view suite with Juliette balcony. It was a beautiful view and suite was clean and comfortable. However the sliding door to open the balcony was extremely hard to open & close with the handle very loose. We ended up not opening. Bathroom plumbing was showing age. The only deal breaker was the elevator. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

There was a palm tree to the side of our balcony but not a true block like other rooms. I feel the pools were small even though they had several it seemed people were on top of each other. Property was beautiful, amenities were plentiful no complaints.

Stayed here recently and would rate it as average overall. The rooms are quite outdated, with worn tables and chairs, and the layout felt a bit awkward—the bed is positioned right by the door as soon as you walk in. Our view was of a parking garage, which was disappointing. Service was inconsistent. We weren’t offered the welcome drink on arrival and had to ask for it ourselves. On the day we left, the lift wasn’t working, so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs, which was inconvenient. On the positive side, the beach was very nice and probably the best part of the stay. However, the hotel felt overpriced for the quality of the rooms and service provided. The nearby sister resort looked much more modern and seemed to have better amenities. Overall, not a terrible stay, but not great value for money.

The photos of the room where I stayed with my family do not match the ones on the website. The bathroom in the room where I stayed was barely big enough for one person. The facilities were quite old.

The room was not clean at all .I honestly think the maid went in and made the beds after the last people left and did notting else we didn’t even have any dish towels in the kitchenette and the coffeepot was not even clean the floors were filthy. Looks like they haven’t been washed in a month of Sundays. Sandy and greedy, my socks look like I was walking outside in the dirt …. worst of all the couch and chair smelt like somebody had pissed on it and couldn’t even sit on the damn thing. it was a shame because the place could’ve been really a nice place and you hire non-speaking English people that can’t understand what you’re saying to them i’d say they’re probably illegals The price that I had to pay, I felt that I was really cheated
