We had a great time at the Omni Corpus Christi! Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was comfortable with a nice view — though it was missing a microwave and seating on the balcony, which would’ve been a nice touch.
Customer service was great almost everywhere throughout the hotel. A special shoutout to Elisabeth, our amazing waitress at the restaurant — she went above and beyond to accommodate our gluten-free needs and made sure my son and I were completely taken care of. We also had a fantastic experience at the pool bar with the female bartender — she was incredibly attentive, brought drinks to us without us needing to leave our seats, and made special virgin daiquiris on the rocks for my kids when the blender was down. They felt so special!
Unfortunately, the male bartender was the complete opposite. He refused to make mixed drinks, said he was closing early the next two nights, and was honestly just dismissive. When my son lost his bracelet and I asked if he had seen it, he made me wait while he finished watching a scene from a movie on TV.
A couple of minor maintenance issues too — the elevators were super slow, our tub didn’t drain properly, and we ran out of toilet paper. We called for more, but no one ever brought it up.
All in all, the great staff members and fun atmosphere outweighed the downsides. With a few improvements, this place could be top-tier!
