NIGHTMARE AT THE HAMPTON INN!!!!!
The only experience i was able to have was the night manager calling his security and had me thrown out into the freezing night because Hotels.com screwed up my reservation to your hotel. They called the front desk to try and get a resolution, but the manager refused to talk to them, until my husband called The Hamptons customer service, that was the only time they agreed to talk with Hotels.com about my situation. He simply said there is nothing he is willing to do to fix my problem. Then he had me thrown out into the freezing dark night, thousands of miles away from my home .At one point i was actually afraid for my life. It was the worst day of my life. That man should definitely not be representing any hospitality entity. Finally, around 5am in the morning, Hotels.com was able to find another hotel for me to lay my freezing head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a nightmare. Something needs to be done about my situation. You also need to make sure that this never happens to any other potential guest at your establishment. Extraordinarily disappointing and scary!!!!!!

Sirens all night
Our room-902-was directly opposite the ambulance bay for the hospital emergency room. The first night was so loud and we got so little sleep that we decided not to stay the second night. (I say this as someone who has lived in cities for 30 years.) Maybe rooms on the other side of the hotel are marginally quieter? We also kept smelling weed from someone smoking in the adjacent stairwell. The room was large. Would have traded half the size for a quieter night.

Sketchy neighborhood outside, with a number of homeless and addicts gathered around the hospital. But everything inside was great. Good service, comfortable room, decent continental breakfast.

Pros: My first time in Boston. I wanted to start out by giving gratitude to the staff for their kindness, attentiveness, accommodations, and always making me feel safe. I was able to check in early, as there was a room available. Breakfast was as you would expect for any continental breakfast at a hotel. They have fresh coffee and hot water for hot chocolate or tea 24/7 in the lobby. The elevators are room key access. 24/7 security guard in lobby. I wanted to give a special shout out to Ace. He is extremely attentive to all the guests in the lobby. I noticed him, on several occasion, checking in with guests and asking if they needed help. Cons: Caution to those who are light sleepers. The hotel is next to a hospital, so you hear police and ambulance sirens throughout the night, and occasional yelling outside. The AC fan is loud.

Nice hotel, very bad location.
We stayed 5 days. The hotel is fine. Staff was helpful and hotel was clean. Not a bad price for the Boston area. Breakfast was very good each morning. Shuttle service helps you reach some interesting destinations. However, and it not the hotel's fault, but it's located next to what Bostonians call "the methadone mile" you cannot wander outside of the hotel at night on foot. From our window, we watched drug deals and junkies shooting up. Every night the police chase them out, once the police leave, they all come back. IMO, Don't bring children to this hotel.
