Beautiful pool and nice view from balcony. Bed was okay. Breakfast at Liam's was good. Short walk into town. Good price for what you get. Nice to have kitchen if you want to cook.

Very good manager. He took care of us like a good friend. When we couldn't find a taxi late in the night he even dropped by niece at the dome. Highly appreciated.

This property is a long way from town. The taxis are informal private people that you can use. The whole island doesn’t cater to travelers very well. The island might have 50 rooms total so not a lot to choose from.

I selected this property because of how close it is to hiking trails. This is perfect if that’s why you’re visiting the island. It is also close to a supermarket and plenty of restaurants. I didn’t have any issues with wifi at all which seems to be complaints from previous guests. Overall I had a nice stay and the staff and owner were very nice and helpful!

The location was great! It is right next to the entry to Mt. Scenery and the quaint town of Winwardside. Our hotel room was super clean and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Hotel, close to main town for tourists purposes. Helpful staff! Because our ferry was in the evening, and we had a child, they allowed us a late check out, free of charge! Thanks a lot for that!

The kitchenette had no sink washing dishes in the bathroom sink proved difficult. You cannot use the balcony unless you turn the air conditioner off because the big air conditioner unit on the balconies blows hot air. The bathroom sink was plugged up the first day, but it was corrected promptly by removing the drain stopper apparently by using one of the kitchen knives, which was then left, bent and dirty On the bathroom sink.

Saba - A Must Go
Travelling to Saba was on our "bucket list". We knew where it was but not much else. This is a small island and not a resort experience. If you like to hike then this is the place. Same with diving. Leave your expectations at home. We stayed at the Arawak Hotel for 4 nights in late October. We had a one bedroom with a partial kitchen. The location was great, the view fantastic, and the Hotel quaint. The Arawak is being upgraded constantly but supplies are hard to get on Saba, so be patient. The owner is doing a great job, helpful, and very pleasant. If you are missing anything in the kitchen or your room, just ask. Yes, it is a 2 star hotel but a 5 star experience. The main hiking trail is about 300metres for the Hotel. Getting to the top of the mountain in the cloud forest is well worth it. Take a picnic, you won't be disappointed. The nearest town is a 1km walk, and has 2 grocery stores, restaurants and bars. You can get to the Arawak by ferry or plane. The thrill of landing on the shortest commercial runway in the world is a must. Taking off is exceptional, especially when Hurricane Tammy was arriving the next day!!!! If you are going to Saint Maarten, then don't miss out on Saba.

Quiet, great Views and A Pool
A newer build with air conditioning and a pool. Very quiet. Balconies overlook pool and view of Windwardside was pretty. Walking to town for shopping, trail heads, and restaurants is possible in about 20 minutes. The hotel manager is friendly and helpful. Staff is nice and will get you what you need that May missing from your room. The only thing that could be improved is the sets of dishes and silverware are incomplete. This is an easy fix. A small bottle of dishwashing liquid would also be helpful. A dishwashing cloth and towel to dry would round out what is needed so body towels are not used.

New hotel. Near Windwardside and easy walk to restaurants and a few bars. Pool is nice, internet is pretty fast. No ice machines or much on site after hours. Could not get a beverage at bar cause hotel didnt have a key to open fridge. Just was trying to get a diet coke / soda.

2/10 Poor

I wasn't going to leave a review but seeing how combative they were to others who were kind enough to leave constructive feedback which was as dismissive as they were in person I felt obligated to review. The property was really run down. We ran out of water mid-stay (just our room, the rest of the property and island was fine) and they did nothing to compensate, not even transfer rooms despite it being a near empty hotel. Not even an apology! It felt that we were a burden to even expect water from the faucet. Lots of "its not our fault" when an "I am sorry that the faucet is broken in your room, let me put you in another room and help you with moving your luggage." The management has created a culture where everyone that worked there seemed un motivated and not willing to help out guests. Even asking to call a taxi was bothersome to the employees which shows how bad the leadership is which is apparent for how they replied to others on here and elsewhere. Hospitality is key in this industry but when staff don't feel supported by management then we get the apathy that I have seen at this hotel. It all starts from the top.

Good location right next to Mr. Scenery trail head, five minute walk to good restaurants, dive shop picks up here, nice pool area, very nice marble bathroom with multiple showerheads, strong wifi (can zoom), balconies with fabulous views, friendly staff. Lots of stairs, but since Saba is a steep volcano, they help! Very friendly and helpful staff. Since the hotel is new, the only blip is the restaurant/bar is rarely open, but kitchenettes and nearby restaurants & groceries make it workable.
